

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife Frances, infant daughter and son, three brothers and seven sisters. Herbert's surviving family include his daughters, Cathy Frazier of Salina, Kansas and Cindy Brownback (Terry) of Emporia, Kansas sons, Terrence Kraft (Marcia) of Dodge City, Kansas and Daniel Kraft (Tracy) of Russell, Kansas brother, Eugene Kraft (Phyllis) of Salina, Kansas seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of his horses and animals. Post 6240 and the McDonald's coffee group.

For a short time he also worked in the oil patch as a roughneck. Herbert was a Farmer most all of his life on the farm he was born at. Frances preceded him in death on April 27, 2014. This union was blessed with four children Cathy, Terrence, Cindy and Daniel. They made their home in the house he was born in.

Herbert was united in marriage to Frances Ilene Fisher on Augin Ellsworth, Kansas. After his tour of duty he returned to his family farm. Army in the Infantry during the Korean War in the years 1951 to 1953. He grew up and attended country schools in Russell County. He was one of twelve children born to David and Emma (Steinert) Kraft. Herbert was born Januon the family farm south of Russell. Herbert David Kraft, 92, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Tuesday morning, November 2, 2021, at the Russell Regional Hospital in Russell.
